Queensland University of Technology delegation visits Triac Composites

On 23 April 2019, Triac Composites was delighted to welcome a delegation of students from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), Australia, for a tour of our factory.

Triac Composites' Phil Johns (General Manager) and Tom Cutajar (Production Manager) in Triac's meeting room with the QUT student delegation led by Dr Rui Torres de Oliveira.

The students are studying International Business and were very keen to know all about running an international manufacturing business in Vietnam. Lots of engaged students asking lots of great, pertinent, insightful and relevant questions.

Topics covered included reasons for choosing Vietnam as the country to establish the business, the ownership structure of the business, outsourcing, human resources (both Vietnamese and international), marketing, professional services, etc.

The International Business students from QUT find out for themselves just how big a 60' Rapido Trimaran is when visiting Triac Composites' factory in HCMC, Vietnam.

Triac Composites wishes all the students well in their future careers and very much enjoyed receiving the students.
