Koch checks Kuka Robot in Spain prior to delivery

Yesterday (23 April 2019), co founder of Rapido Trimarans', Paul Koch, visited Spain to check out our new Kuka, 6-axis, milling robot. See photos below.

Triac Composites' new robot will be used to help make the new Rapido 40 and Rapido 50.

The robot has a working area of 22.5m x 3.7m and comes with a 22.5m linear track.

It will initially be used to make perfect plugs (which in turn, are used to make the moulds) for the Rapido 50 and Rapido 40 model trimarans.

We are expecting delivery of the robot by the end of May, 2019.
