Ana Marina Nha Trang is Vietnam's first genuine marina to serve the pleasure boat industry - and Phil Johns, General Manager of Triac Composites was there on 24 January 2019 for an exclusive tour (to see additional photos of this stunning marina in the making, click here).
When completed, Ana Marina Nha Trang will provide sheltered berthing for up to 220 yachts, from small day cruisers to super yachts. Extra wide berths for catamarans and trimarans will also be available.
Ana Marina's website notes that "In the first stage, a total of approximately 60 berths will be available, ranging from 20m to 40m, including catamaran berths. Following this, 6-8 berths for superyachts, up to 70m, will be completed, along with the remaining berths to cater for the 10-20m boats.
"All berths are equipped with sufficient power and water supplies, and have access to pump-out stations for waste water. Safety and firefighting pedestals are equally distributed over the berthing pontoons. The use of power and water will be monitored by a digital metering system, providing easy use and billing while avoiding any excess use of resources."
Triac Composites, with our skills set and level of expertise, is well positioned to support boat owners requiring composite repair services to their hulls, daggerboards and rudders. (To read about a storm-damaged yacht repaired by Triac Composites, click here.)
Ana Marina Nha Trang will also act as the event venue for a number of major events including the Hong Kong to Vietnam Race which commences on 19 October 2019.
The development of Ana Marina Nha Trang represents a significant step forward for the pleasure boating industry in Vietnam.
